 "The past year has been a challenging one for businesses and communities throughout the globe. Catastrophic natural disasters as well as unexpected economic difficulties have brought added pressures to many, placing particular burden and lack of resource on those who rely upon outside support and funding. In this uncertain climate Access Charitable Trust have been delighted to lend our support to those organisations which we feel lie close to our hearts and to those causes where we believe we are able to make the greatest impact.
Particular highlights in the Access Charitable Trust events calendar have been the Breast Cancer Care charitable dinner and fashion show, raising money for a cause very person to each of us with the Access Risk Management Group, as well as partnering with the Hope foundation and Chris Beetles art gallery to bring light to the difficulties faced by the children of Calcutta.
This year has also seen a new initiative by Access Charitable Trust, partnering with our technology based sister company, to sponsor a child from Calcutta as part of an innovative apprenticeship scheme.
